LIKE ATHENIANS
Good character matters more than knowledge and skills. We must collectively maintain an inclusive (online) learning environment. Here are some tips:
Audio: Students and Parents may choose to use open speakers
Video: Students are required to share their work during the online class. They are however not required (but encouraged) to share their videos during the class
Recording: Classes are recorded for security purposes and will not be distributed. Parents can request reviews.
Parents: welcome to observe our class at ANYTIME
Students: ought to treat one another with respect, honesty, and great integrity
Together, we shall all remain creative, curious, and critically free thinkers. Hopefully with time, we will become one trustworthy community of learners.

TEACHER TOMMY
TEACHER TOMMY
Tommy is an OAA Architect in Ontario, Canada, working at HOK.
He is also the founding educator of School of Ideas
and an instructor at OCAD University.
He believes art + design is about first looking and listening, understanding the practical and cultural needs of the community, and then collaboratively solving problems creatively. He specializes in computation, simulations, and parametric design. Tommy is trained as an artist and skilled in various traditional mediums, too.
He believes the Earth is round and that the penultimate (second last) bite of your ice cream is the best!

CLASSES + LEARNING
CLASSES + LEARNING
All of the classes are virtual. Please sign on 5 min early and notify us of absences at least 24 hours in advance.
There are four classes (Flexible 1 hour each) in a month. If there’s a 5th week, or statutory holiday, the student will take a break. Small-sized classes only.
Students will choose their own projects or select from our class lessons. They will work at their own pace and will receive individualized feedback, documented on class notes.
Separately, you should receive:
a Google Calendar invitation with the meeting link
a Google Drive invitation to class lessons, and sub-folder to class notes
